R.I.P Nathaniel Dwayne Hale (August 19th 1969 – March 15th 2011)
Nathaniel Dwayne Hale also known as Nate Dogg died yesterday. The cause of death is unclear but there has been allegations that he had suffered and was recovering from two strokes in the past years.
Nate Dogg was Snoop’s cousin and his death was confirmed on tweet by close friends and family. Snoop tweeted:
“We lost a true legend n hip hop n rnb” “One of my best friends n a brother to me since 1986 when I was a sophomore at poly high where we met. I love u buddy luv. U will always b wit me 4ever n a day u put the g n g funk u put the 1 n 213 n u put yo stamp on evrybdy u ever didit wit.”
“I miss u cuzz I am so sad but so happy I got to grow up wit u and I will c u again n heaven cuz u know d slogan.” Snoop continued. “all doggs go to heaven yo homie n baby brotha bigg snoopdogg!!”
Amongst others that tweeted, were 50 Cent, Erykah Badu and Dave Chappelle.
Nate Dogg was the hook master, featured in many songs with his unique sense of style and voice. This truly is a moment of shock and surprise not just sadness. At the age of 41, it is indeed a tragedy. Nathaniel Dwayne Hale helped paved the way for Hip Hop and many melodious music. Nate Dogg, the Brotherhood of the Game salutes you. It is and always has been the music and you.
